THE WEAPONS
The first movie had some really dinky slicers and dicers wielded by various gangs and The Man. Only the really dangerous and downright nasty ones get a mention here.
Motorbike Front Fork Blades
For those of us who live in London these would be a real treat in the Congestion Zone. Wielded by Paul during the opening scrap to take out two rather cowardly zombies.
Spiked Elbow Pad
Trash's chosen fashion statement that he uses to devastating effect on a Zombie's face and a Scavenger's belly.
Riders' Fight Stick
I'd love to know the mail order firm this gang subscribes to. Nasty pointy and apparently heavy bit of weaponry that looks sooo cool as they slowly withdraw them from behind the motorbike saddle with a grating "chiiing!".
Retractable Boot Knife
Originally the assassin's weapon of choice in Connery Bond films this puts paid to Hotdog's bellyaching.
Finger Claws
Witch sports these on her dainty little hands and uses them well when scrapping with the Scavengers.
Knuckle Duster Knife
Not all that good but still looks a bit evil. Sported by Speedy as he challenges Hammer.
Hockey Stick
Well what can you say? The Zombies' choice of dueling instrument but they prove as effective as a paper hat in a rainstorm.
Bit of Wood
The less said the better. Wielded by the cackling Scavengers but they do put paid to Hawk with a few (maybe they thought he was a pin cushion).
Sword Stick
Two weapons for the price of one. Ogre's cane can be used for bludgeoning one's enemies or the sword can be swiftly withdrawn for some bloodless beheading action.
Shotgun in Post Office Parcel Tube
Not strictly speaking a very inventive weapon but bonus points for being sneaky enough to hide it in a Mail tube.
Harpoon Gun
Used by the National Guardsmen to scale Ogre's walls and later by Trash in the requisite shirtless scene to get well-deserved revenge on Hammer (who finds it a bit of a drag).
